I’m a big ‘headphones’ guy. I listen to music, as well as produced songs, and having a good pair of headphones is a must. For years I’ve been balancing sound quality vs. price. For ‘over-the-ear’ headphones, I settled on the cost-effective OneOdio wired studio monitors. For recreational in-ear buds, I went with the standard Beats By Dre, mainly because they live in the Apple ecosystem.. the sound wasn’t the best in the world, but the price range was just right.
But I’ve been eyeing Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 in-ear buds. Both the design and sound are superb, but the $250 price tag was out of the range of what I wanted to spend. That is.. until I tried them. The quality of the sound, and the noise canceling… together with the seamless integration with all my Apple products have possibly seal the deal. Now, I just need to will myself to click the ‘purchase’ button.
