Here we are in the last week of 2023. And as usual, there’s not much to look forward to this week. The one standout is the annual “Timeless” comic from Marvel that gives us a glimpse into the future of Marvel Comics for 2024.
Comic Book of The Week:
Timeless 2023 #1
This year’s issue focuses on Luke Cage vs. Moon Knight with some glimpses into other future. Written by Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly, art by Juann Cabal. I hope this is the direction for both of these characters because they both look pretty cool.
All in all, this year’s crop of comics has been underwhelming at best. With the slow decline of the MCU, let’s hope Marvel will put more attention into the comic line to give us more stories that’ll be ready for possible movies and TV shows.
